my spring time wish list

So I am following suit of a fellow blogger, Blue Eyed Bride, and listing some of my ultimate items on my wish list for spring.  Considering the fact that I am saving up for the adoption taking place, fear not!!  I am not going to buy (everything) on this list. :)

1.  This amazing necklace from Ann Taylor Loft.  You can buy it here.

2.  A little place at the beach.  This one's for sale in Topsail Island.  I don't ask for much do I? ;)


3.  A little time to spend outdoors in this backyard.  Scratch that - I just want this backyard!!  I found it here.


4.  These PB lanterns.  I have this weird thing about lanterns.  And Pottery Barn.  Combine the two - and it's over.
 

5.  Anything from the Vintage Finds section of the PB online collection.  I am in love with anything vintage.  Take me to an antique store and I'm a happy girl.


6.  A good pair of espadrilles.  I love these in particular.  I love espadrilles!!  So springy & sassy!  Found these on Zappos (love their free shipping).  I have a pair that I have practically worn out... my favs!

7.  This forecast.  Or just to go here.  Either way.  I'll take it. :)


8.  This dress.  It's at Old Navy.  Oh that's right..... I forgot..... I got it already!!  ;)

    There's nothing wrong with dreaming (for some things) right!? Just remember, we'll have our ultimate beach house one day...all inclusive plus Jesus...what could be better ;)

My eyes are heavy with the haze of anesthesia as I feel the weight of a warm post-op blanket cover my body. I’m suddenly aware of the pain. And then my eyes shoot open and I slur with a heavy tongue and a raspy voice to my husband there at my bedside in the sterile recovery room, “Is it over?! What did he say?!” There’s a pause and a sigh and I suddenly feel a weight in that moment, you know that heaviness of a moment that you know will change your path from here on out. “Babe, he said there’s nothing he could do…” Hot tears stream down my cheeks and the pain of a surgery meant to pave the path towards bringing life into this world is now a dead end. It was my 4th surgery to restore order to my uterus and ovaries, which were a tangled mess of endometriosis & scar tissue from a condition known as Asherman’s Syndrome.
