Oklahoma bound & Fundraisers

Well this will be a very quick post... Just wanted to touch base before we head out tomorrow morning for one of the biggest adventures of our married life :)  I'm not dramatic am I?  hehe.  Well we are going to Oklahoma tomorrow, meeting little Zane's birthmom, and seeing a little bit of OKC too.  Say some prayers for us - specifically that she will feel more at peace and confident in her decision following our visit! :)

On a different note, I'm truly & utterly amazed at God's provision.  Justin & I talked for about an hour last night - just about how good God is.  How it feels like not only is he cheering us on as we run this race, but it feels like he's changing the winds to blow with us & push us along faster!  For one, as you may or may not know, Worthy of the Prize is selling Chosen Child Adoption items - we are one of their 10 featured adoption couples!  This means that a certain percentage of all sales from the Chosen Child collection will go to us (or any of the other featured couples - you gotta choose which couple when ordering)! **Check out the badge at the top right of our page to order a fit band or necklace**  Last I had heard, Erin (the founder of WOTP) told me that we had had the most sales & other couples were interested in how we did it!  I told her that we just have awesome family & friends :)  In the latest news at WOTP, they are now selling t-shirts featuring the country/state from which our babies are coming from!  Check out more details on her blog HERE.  So if you are interested in having one made, let me know - maybe we can do a mass order for OKC shirts ;)

I have more fundraiser opportunities coming down the pipes... plus a new business adventure!!  They kind of go hand-in-hand.  However, I must. go. to. bed. !  Gotta get up bright 'n early in the a.m.!  So I will fill you in soon... just a hint: it has to do with Proverbs 31. :)

Here are some recent pics of the Summer of 2010.  Enjoy!

With love & anticipation,

  2. Just stumbled upon your blog, and I congratulate you on your upcoming joy. I also would not mind squeezing the living daylights out of that amazing woman, who is blessing you with the most precious gift possible. I have such respect for these woman who choose to bless another with a baby that they may not be able to bless themselves with the kind of life every precious child deserves. Good luck, and you will know exactly what to do when you are there!!!!
