Worthy of the Prize is a faith-driven company that started out (and still does) selling fit bands for sports enthusiasts with a Christian emphasis.  Somewhere along the way, Erin Vick, the company's founder, got a burden and a heart for couples going through the adoption process.  And we were blessed to become one of the first few couples to be a part of her Adoption Campaign!  For every Chosen Child fit band or lanyard, Chosen Child necklace from Caps Creations, or Adoption t-shirt sold under the McLamb's name, we will receive a certain percentage of those sales!

So what could make that even better?!?  An Adoption Auction!  Check it out!  And help a sista out! :)

    I will do a feature of this on my blog, in the next few weeks. Seeing as it's still a ways away, I want it to be fresh in peoples minds. Also please send me a reminder just in case, closet to the end of October. Oh and THANK YOU SO much for joining my party. I was thrilled to see your baby's crib on there, so sweet. CAn't wait to hear more wonderful updates :)

My eyes are heavy with the haze of anesthesia as I feel the weight of a warm post-op blanket cover my body. I’m suddenly aware of the pain. And then my eyes shoot open and I slur with a heavy tongue and a raspy voice to my husband there at my bedside in the sterile recovery room, “Is it over?! What did he say?!” There’s a pause and a sigh and I suddenly feel a weight in that moment, you know that heaviness of a moment that you know will change your path from here on out. “Babe, he said there’s nothing he could do…” Hot tears stream down my cheeks and the pain of a surgery meant to pave the path towards bringing life into this world is now a dead end. It was my 4th surgery to restore order to my uterus and ovaries, which were a tangled mess of endometriosis & scar tissue from a condition known as Asherman’s Syndrome.
