Christmas projects to try

I love being crafty but being crafty does not usually love me back!  HA!  Nah, sometimes I do pretty good in making things.  I have been collecting my favorite Christmas ideas lately, and these 3 wreaths are so beautiful & intriguing!  Want to try all 3, but know I don't need all 3... but could use the 1st & 3rd year-round!  What do you guys think??

Also would love to make a tree topper that is totally unique and non-traditional.  Every year I've had the same ol' "bow-n-ting ting" stuff at the top.  Have been looking a feather topper but have only found one and am not fond of it... it sells at both Grandin Road and Frontgate.com

I would make mine with maybe white feathers, maybe some peacock feathers???

    Love the third wreath!! As far as the tree goes...great idea...My mom does amazing trees...she has even though about opening up her own business! But she does the same thing...she creates a completely non traditional tree topper...some using feathers...they are beautiful! Here's another example. For our wedding, it was a winterwonderland theme...she saw bare trees with long branches that were white and "sparkly", and even had crystals hanging off of them...EXPENSIVE..Her solution= she went out and cut the tree/branches down...spray painted them white and added some sparkle with glitter...hung crystal ornaments and other things from them...THEY WERE GORGEOUS...and she saved hundreds!! :D But anywho, just wanted to share. If you ever need any inspiration or help in that area...I know she would love to help! Blessings! Ashley

My eyes are heavy with the haze of anesthesia as I feel the weight of a warm post-op blanket cover my body. I’m suddenly aware of the pain. And then my eyes shoot open and I slur with a heavy tongue and a raspy voice to my husband there at my bedside in the sterile recovery room, “Is it over?! What did he say?!” There’s a pause and a sigh and I suddenly feel a weight in that moment, you know that heaviness of a moment that you know will change your path from here on out. “Babe, he said there’s nothing he could do…” Hot tears stream down my cheeks and the pain of a surgery meant to pave the path towards bringing life into this world is now a dead end. It was my 4th surgery to restore order to my uterus and ovaries, which were a tangled mess of endometriosis & scar tissue from a condition known as Asherman’s Syndrome.
